Laempe + Sims was formed more than 20 years ago by Bob Sims and Joachim Laempe. Bob has over 30 years experience in the UK and overseas foundry markets. Joachim was a superb mechanical engineer with the ability to simplify machine design as well as reduce cost and increase performance. They first met in China during the most explosive growth period in foundries the world has ever seen. Since then, the Laempe product has gone from virtually unknown in the UK to the de-facto standard.
Sadly, Joachim was killed in a plane crash in April 2008, but his memory and products live on.
Laempe & Mössner GmbH are the largest company in this sector worldwide. Their product range is diverse with models to suit jobbing, serial and high volume applications. Made in Germany, the equipment is robust, flexible and above all productive.
